Day 1

Arrival at the Airport & Welcome to Amsterdam. Meet your tour manager at the Airport/Hotel. Day 2

Buffet breakfast at hotel Guided tour of Amsterdam for 3 hours. Amsterdam has so much more to offer besides the canals. On this live guided tour we will show you countless interesting sights and amazing views on the outside of the city centre. You will be able to admire the idyllic suburban scenery and the architecture of beautiful mansions. We will have a photo stop at a remarkable windmill and you will have the opportunity to visit a diamond factory in the Museum District. From this point you can decide whether you want to explore Amsterdam further on your own or return to the bus which will take you back to where the tour started. Entrance to Cheese/Clog Factory, Wooden Shoe factory. Lunch at restaurant Tour of Volendam, Marken, Windmills – This excursion takes us to the countryside north of Amsterdam, to the edge of the river Zaan, where we visit windmill village ‘de Zaanse Schans’, with its characteristic green wooden houses. On the turn of the 18th century this district was an industrial area with approximately 700 windmills in use. In this day and age there are only five left. Through typical Dutch scenery we continue to Volendam for a city walk and the traditional fisherman’s village of Marken, situated on the shores of the former Zuiderzee. This tour includes a visit to a working windmill, boatride between Marken and Volendam, a demonstration in a cheese factory and visit to a traditional clogmaker. Back to Amsterdam Canal Cruise Included for 1 hrs – This one-hour cruise takes you through the unique UNESCO World Heritage canal district. Feast your eyes on the elegant merchants’ houses dating from the Golden Age, the fabulous gables, beautiful churches, the iconic Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge) and many more highlights. Buffet breakfast at hotel Transfer to Hague – your journey to the former capital of the Netherlands, we will get off the bus for a 30 min. walking tour across the “Binnenhof” and walking past the Houses of Parliament You might even see the ministers passing by on their bike.! After this we will continue the driving city tour of the Hague among other highlights passing by the work palace of the King and there will be a photo stop at the Peace Palace where the International Court of Justice has its’ seat. Entrance to Madurodam – you’ll visit the famous miniature park of Madurodam, which contains realistic small-scale replicas of the country’s most iconic landmarks. Lunch at restaurant Transfer to Bruges Orientation tour of Bruges – If you set out to design a fairy-tale medieval town, it would be hard to improve on central Bruges (Brugge in Dutch), one of Europe’s best preserved cities. Picturesque cobbled lanes and dreamy canals link photogenic market squares lined with soaring towers, historical churches and lane after lane of old whitewashed almshouses. Buffet breakfast at hotel Guided tour of Brussels for 2 hours – Discover the ancient buildings of the city and its splendid modern districts on board of our comfortable coach. Our visit begins at the majestic Grand Place which was the cradle of medieval Brussels. The coach will take us to Saint-Michael’s cathedral. We will make a brief stop at the famous Atomium and drive along the marvelous Chinese Pavilion and Japanese Tower. From the Royal Residence we will return to the city center to visit the cozy Sablon district, with its numerous antique shops. We show you the stunning Palace of Justice and the Royal Palace. The next part of our tour covers the district with the headquarters of the European Parliament, the Commission and the Council of Europe.
