EUC Driving regulation/ Law for drivers:
  • Max. 12 working hours a day. (duration for which the LDC is at disposal)
  • Max. 9 driving hours. After every 4 and half hour the driver must rest for a minimum of 45 minutes. The break can be split up to 2 – 3 breaks of minimum 15 minutes per break.
  • Night rest is 12 hours.
  • TL to ensure pax are wearing seat belts and not moving around in the coach
  • TL to ensure that group keeps the coach neat and clean. Rubbish/dirt should not be thrown inside the coach
  • TL to ensure that timings are adhered to. This is very important keeping in mind that Indian itineraries are very tight. In order to complete the tour within the EU regulation of LDC, adherence to timing is very vital. Drivers to not driver outside EU regulation and can at any time discontinue the services due to overdriving.
  • Tips are not included. TLs are requested to handover tips to driver without fail. The minimum expected tip is Euro 2 / pp per day
